What is PU Injection
PU Injection waterproofing (also known as polyurethane crack injection) is an advanced and highly effective method used to stop water infiltration by sealing cracks and joints from the inside. The technique involves injecting a specially formulated polyurethane resin into the affected concrete area. When the resin comes into contact with water, it expands and solidifies, forming a strong yet flexible waterproof seal within the crack.

Step One
Drill & Install Injection Packers
Objective: Prepare the surface and access points for injection.
- Small holes are drilled along the crack or leak line at 45°.
- Injection packers are placed into these holes, allowing the PU material to reach deep inside the crack.
- This helps seal the leak from the inside for a stronger, longer-lasting repair.
Step Two
Inject Polyurethane Resin
Objective: Seal the crack by filling it internally with expanding resin.
- PU resin is injected into the prepared nozzles using a pump.
- The resin expands when it meets moisture and fills the entire crack, turning into a flexible foam that seals the leak completely.
Step Three
Remove Packers & Seal Surface
Objective: Finalise the area and restore surface integrity.
- After the resin cures, the packers are removed.
- The drilled holes and exposed cracks are filled and sealed with grout or patching material.
- The surface is cleaned and restored, ready for inspection or any finishing work like painting or tiling.
